Powers of recall of the Mayor

To move the following Clause:
'(1) A referendum of those entitled to vote as electors at ordinary elections shall be held on whether the Mayor should be removed from office if 90 per cent. or more of the Assembly members submit a petition, or if 10 per cent. or more of those entitled to vote in the election of Mayor submit a petition to the Assembly.
(2) If, at the referendum in subsection (1) above, more than 50 per cent. of those voting support the removal from office of the Mayor, an election shall be held.'.
