    '(9A) Where by virtue of this Act coming into force or otherwise Transport for London acquires or comes to hold an interest in any company which would be in breach of subsection (2) above had it formed or promoted that company, Transport for London shall be permitted a twelve month period to offer for sale, and complete the sale of, sufficient interest in any company so as to ensure that it is not in breach of subsection (2) above, such sale to be by way of a process of competitive tending for the best price which might reasonably be obtainable.'.
