That, during proceedings on the Tax Credits Bill, the Committee do meet on Tuesdays at half-past Ten o'clock and at half-past Four o'clock and on Thursdays at Nine o'clock and half-past Four o'clock, except on Thursday 4th March when the Committee will meet at half-past Two o'clock only.

Division of childcare tax credit

*To move the following Clause:—

    'Where two parents, living separately, share care of a child, then the childcare tax credit shall be shared between them in proportion to the percentage of the year each looks after the child.'.


Amendment of Children Act 1989

*To move the following Clause:—

    'The Children Act 1989 shall be amended so that childminders can register and be inspected if they look after children up to the age of 14 or 16 if the child is disabled.'.


Registration of au pairs as childminders

    'For the purposes of the childcare tax credit au pairs may be registered as childminders under the Children Act 1989 for the period that they live in the United Kingdom with any one family.'.
