Opening of Parliament
Dr Liam Fox NC30 To move the following Clause:'( ) Notwithstanding the changes in the membership of the House of Lords effected by this Act, every future session of Parliament shall be opened by the Queen in Parliament assembled.'.
Independent Commission on hereditary peerage
Dr Liam Fox NC31 To move the following Clause:(1) The Secretary of State shall establish an Independent Commission to investigate the effect of section 1 of this Act on the hereditary peerage. (2) The Commission shall lay an interim report before each House of Parliament at the end of the Session of Parliament in which this Act is passed.'.
Independent Commission on consideration of bills
Dr Liam Fox NC32 To move the following Clause:(1) The Secretary of State shall establish an Independent Commission to investigate the effect of section 1 of this Act on the consideration of bills. (2) The Commission shall lay an interim report before each House of Parliament at the end of the Session of Parliament in which this Act is passed.'.

Dr Liam Fox NC33 To move the following Clause:(1) The Secretary of State shall establish an Independent Commission to investigate the effect of section 1 of this Act on the ability of the House of Lords to consider draft statutory instruments. (2) The Commission shall lay an interim report before each House of Parliament at the end of the Session of Parliament in which this Act is passed.'.
Independent Commission on consideration of statutory instruments relating to EC obligations
Dr Liam Fox NC34 To move the following Clause:'(1) The Secretary of State shall establish an Independent Commission to investigate the effect of section 1 of this Act on the ability of the House of Lords to scrutinise statutory instruments that are meant to meet a European Community obligation of the United Kingdom. (2) The Commission shall lay an interim report before each House of Parliament at the end of the Session of Parliament in which this Act is passed.'.

Dr Liam Fox NC35 To move the following Clause:'(1) The Secretary of State shall establish an Independent Commission to investigate the effect of section 1 of this Act on the ability of the House of Lords to scrutinise the work of Ministers of the Crown. (2) The Commission shall lay an interim report before each House of Parliament at the end of the Session of Parliament in which this Act is passed.'.

Dr Liam Fox NC36 To move the following Clause:'(1) The Secretary of State shall establish an Independent Commission to investigate the effect of section 1 of this Act on the work of the select committees of the House of Lords. (2) The Commission shall lay an interim report before each House of Parliament at the end of the Session of Parliament in which this Act is passed.'.

Dr Liam Fox NC38 To move the following Clause:'(1) The Secretary of State shall establish an Independent Commission to investigate the effect of section 1 of this Act on the consideration by Parliament of any bill that would amend the provisions, or suspend the operation, of the Septennial Act 1715. (2) The Commission shall lay an interim report before each House of Parliament at the end of the Session of Parliament in which this Act is passed.'

(2) The Commission shall lay an interim report before each House of Parliament at the end of the Session of Parliament in which this Act is passed.'
