B I L L TO Require the Secretary of State to make regulations on the fitting, maintenance and use of bells on pedal cycles. BE IT ENACTED by the Queen's most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- | |||||||||
Secretary of State to make regulations under s. 81 of the Road Traffic Act 1988. | 1. Not later than 12 months after the passing of this Act, the Secretary of State shall make regulations under section 81 of the Road Traffic Act 1988 (regulation of brakes, bells etc. on pedal cycles)- | ||||||||

Short title. | 2. This Act may be cited as the Bells on Pedal Cycles Act 1999. |
