Mr. Gill: To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, pursuant to his answer of 19 January 1999,

Official Report, column 454, on fisheries, if he will list those EU countries with which he has discussed the decentralisation of fisheries control to zonal committees within member states; which states indicated their support in principle; and if he will make a statement. [68149]

Mr. Morley: I have not yet discussed with other Member States the ideas of the National Federation of Fishermen's Organisations and the Scottish Fishermen's Federation concerning zonal committees. However, the NFFO and SFF have themselves been discussing their ideas with their counterparts in other Member States and I shall be interested to see the outcome of these contacts.

Departmental Papers (Access for Visually Impaired)

Mr. Michael J. Foster: To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what plans he has for departmental (a) White and (b) Green Papers to be made available on floppy disk format in a form which facilitates access for the visually impaired. [67836]

Mr. Morley: I refer my hon. Friend to the reply given by my hon. Friend the Parliamentary Secretary, Cabinet Office, on 27 January 1999, Official Report, column 296. I confirm that future White and Green Papers issued by MAFF will be made available on standard floppy disk in a suitable form, on request.
