Horses (Transportation)

Mr. Robertson: To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what discussions he has had with the Governments of Eastern European countries regarding the transportation of horses to the European Union. [98364]

EU Pavilions

International Criminal Court (Scotland)

Biological Weapons

Mr. Gapes: To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will make a statement on (a) his assessment of the threat from biological weapons to international security and (b) the policy of Her Majesty's Government towards early completion of the negotiations for an effective protocol to strengthen the Biological and Toxin Weapons Convention to enable the protocol to be signed at a conference in London during 2000.
