GOVERNMENT OBSERVATIONS ON THE THIRD REPORT
FROM THE COMMITTEE, SESSION 1998-99
The Committee published its Third Report on the Future
of NATO: The Washington Summit on 13 April 1999. The government's
response to this report was received on 14 May 1999 and is published
as an Annex to this Special Report. We also annex copies of the
new Strategic Concept[1]
agreed at the Washington Summit and the Washington Summit Communiqué.[2]
