6. The Government have a tight timetable for the
implementation for TA restructuring. The aim is to finalise the
establishment of the Battalions by the new year,[23]
and have the restructured TA up and running by 1 July.[24]
The outcome of the review of the TAVRAs is to be with Ministers
by 1 April.[25]
This is an ambitious programme. We expect the Ministry of Defence
to ensure that throughout the implementation process the disruption
to the training and support of Territorials be kept to a minimum,
and we return to how to measure this disruption in our conclusions.
