      —  the promotion of English language and professional examinations; and the provision of educational information.

      —  support for Georgian teachers of English, including the development of an English language resource centre; the promotion of British examinations; and support for the MoD Peace Keeping English programme.

    —  Demonstrating that the UK is a committed partner in tackling key economic and democratic reform agendas in Georgia by:

      —  ensuring full Georgian participation in Know How Fund reform programmes and other appropriate initiatives.

    —  Promoting the UK's role as a leading provider of educational opportunity by:

      —  provision of a placement service to schools and language courses in the UK; the promotion of English language distance-learning and professional examinations.

    —  Raising awareness of the UK's creativity, cultural diversity and recent achievements by:

      —  the development of a targeted, but very limited, arts programme.
