FROM THE COMMITTEE, SESSION 1998-99: DEPARTMENT FOR INTERNATIONAL
DEVELOPMENT: 1999 DEPARTMENTAL REPORT
The International Development Committee reported
to the House on the 1999 Departmental Report of the Department
for International Development in its Fifth Report, Session 1998-99,
published on 27 July 1999. The Government Response to that Report
was received on 22 September 1999. It is reproduced as an Appendix
to this Special Report. The Committee has requested from DFID
further explanation of certain matters contained in the Government
response. This further information will be published in due course.
