SIXTH SPECIAL REPORT
The Northern Ireland Affairs Committee has agreed
to the following Special Report:—
In July 1999, the Committee, in its Second Report
of this Session (HC 227), reported on Electricity Supplies in
Northern Ireland: Impact of the 26 December 1998 storm. The Committee
has now received the responses of the Government, Northern Ireland
Electricity plc and the Office for the Regulation of Electricity
and Gas (Ofreg) (the regulatory body in Northern Ireland for the
electricity supply industry) to this Report. The relevant texts
are set out in the Appendices I to III.
