Penalty fares 8B.(1) Any functions conferred on the Regulator by regulations under section 130 of the Railways Act 1993 which are in force immediately before the coming into force of paragraph 30 of Schedule 16 be treated after that paragraph comes into force as if conferred on the Authority.(2) Any rules made by the Regulator under or by virtue of that section which have effect immediately before the coming into force of that paragraph have effect after that paragraph comes into force as if made by the Authority.'.
