    '( ) For the purposes of subsection (2), "animals kept for commercial purposes" shall include animals kept for farming or commercial breeding, animals kept by zoos or circuses, animals kept for sale in pet shops, animals kept for racing, animals being looked after by kennels or catteries, guard and sniffer dogs, dray horses and horses kept by riding schools or establishments.'.

Reimbursement for financial loss

To move the following Clause:—

    '( ) Where a person against whom proceedings are brought for an offence under section 1 of the 1911 Act is acquitted of that offence, he shall be entitled to be reimbursed for any financial loss suffered by him as a consequence of an order made under section (2) of this Act.'.
