Disqualification from ministerial office in Scotland
Mr William Ross NC7 *To move the following Clause:'.No person may stand for election as, or be nominated as, a Minister in the Scottish Assembly if they are a Minister or Junior Minister of the legislature of the Irish Republic and if a person is appointed as a Minister in the Scottish Assembly and subsequently as a Minister in the legislature of the Irish Republic, he shall cease to be a Minister in the Scottish Assembly.'.

Mr William Cash NC8 *To move the following Clause:'No person elected to the Parliament of the United Kingdom and also to the legislature of the Republic of Ireland may become a Minister of the Crown.'.
Disqualification from ministerial office in the United Kingdom
Mr Simon Hughes NC9 *To move the following Clause:'.(1) No person may be appointed to ministerial office in the government of the United Kingdom if he is a member of the government of Ireland. (2) A minister in the government of the United Kingdom ceases to hold office on becoming a minister of the government of Ireland.'.
