'Consultation by Consumer Councils before establishing regional committees .(1) The requirements in paragraph 11(2) to (4) of Schedule 2 to this Act do not apply to any regional committee of the Gas and Electricity Consumer Council which is established within the period of two months beginning with the day on which section 16(2) of this Act comes into force.(2) The requirements in paragraph 11(2) to (4) of Schedule 1B to the Telecommunications Act 1984 (as inserted by section 85(2) of this Act) do not apply to any regional committee of the Telecommunications Consumer Council which is established within the period of two months beginning with the day on which subsection (2) of section 46C of that Act (as inserted by section 92 of this Act) comes into force.'
