Officers of England, Wales and Northern Ireland
In order for ACPO to produce any sort of meaningful
figures, it would be necessary to write to each force in England,
Wales and Northern Ireland, requesting that they conduct an analysis
of the number of such establishments in their force area and cost
the additional resources they would require to police the additional
hours.
I appreciate that your Committee is working to a
tight time schedule, however for the reasons stated above, it
will not be possible for ACPO to complete the work, within the
time requested.
