Memorandum from the Greek Football Federation

Regarding your letter concerning the details
of the requirements which non-EEA nationals are required to meet
to play professional football in Greece we inform you the below:
1. It is a need to submit the contract between
the concerned club and the player. The submission of the contract
has to be done within the legal deadlines (please note that in
Greece we have two transfer periods per season when transfers
can be concluded).
2. The International Transfer Certificate (ITC).
3. Each club has to pay in a yearly base a sum
of 290 USD approximately after submitting an application to the
immigration office of the Foreign Affairs Ministry in order to
issue a permission of stay and work for the player in question.
The permission needs a renewal every year.
