For school to be within "cold spot"
as defined by the Four Counties Report 1999, that is below national,
regional and specific county participatory levels.
For "school" to have a high incidence
of enabling factors towards progression as identified by
the qualitative research in the Four Counties Report 1999 ie:
strong school parent links,
strong in-house preparation programme,
active links with higher educational
establishments.
For school to perform well in relation to regional
and district DfEE performance indicators (5 A*- C grades GCSE,
A/AS-level average point score per entry, GNVQ average point score
per entry).
