APPENDIX A

  Drivers' hours are controlled by one of two different sets of regulations—EC regulations, which cover most good vehicle drivers (over 3.5 tonnes) and UK domestic regulations which cover those goods drivers not covered by the EC regulations, most involved in essential services.
