Fractured ribAccident occurred at a swimming pool where an obstacle course had been set up aross the water. A 47 year old woman was assisting her children to negotiate the course when she slipped and fell between the course and the side of the pool.
London & South EastFracture (trunk region of body) Carpenter installing floor joists. One installed but not properly located on the joint hanger. When stood on it twisted and the carpenter fell through the gap.
London & South EastNear drowning Near drowning to a young person in a local authority swimming pool.
London & South EastUpper limb fracture A full refuse cart was on landfill site to discharge contents. The roadway gave way injuring all occupants in the cab.

Yorkshire & North EastFractured foot Fitter fell three metres when completing repair of tie bar at coke ovens.
ScotlandDamaged tendon Child playing on an embankment grabbed hold of wire stay of telephone pole and allegedly sustained an electric shock and damaged a tendon in her thumb. Taken to hospital for surgery.
Wales & WestFractured arms and pelvis Worker fell from pole/ladder. (Details thin).
Wales & WestCrushed ribcage Accident occurred during plant removal operation in a creamery. A frame gantry ran away as vessel was being turned. Report alleged injured person departed from safe system of work and was subsequently disciplined.
Wales & WestInjury to finger requiring hospital treatment High pressure paint injection into finger. Poor systems of work for clearing blockage.
Wales & WestFracture to lower vertebra Lift engineer fell 2.5 metres due to collapse of ladder.

MidlandsFractured ribs Accident during construction work. Carpenter/joiner fell from a board "elevated to a height of 400 centimetres".
