EXETER UNIVERSITY INNOVATION CENTRE

  1,626 sq m of speculative units on university campus. £1.13 million project with £400k GAP funding.

TAMAR SCIENCE PARK, PLYMOUTH

  Phase One comprised 3,100 sq m of innovation centre space at a total cost of £2.4 million. The GAP funding was around £700k. Phase Two is receiving £911k for a total project cost of £2.76 million and provides a further 2,349 sq m of accommodation.

RADIANT HOUSE, PLYMOUTH

  This is the conversion of an obsolescent office block into housing. GAP funding of £300k, with a total project cost of £790k.

FACTORY UNITS, LANGAGE, SOUTH HAMS

  GAP funding of £498k for £1.24 million project. Provides 2,322 sq m of speculative factory units.

CASTLE HILL, TORRINGTON

  Contribution of £1.26 million to a mixed use project involving many other public funders. Community-led project to create a visitor attraction, IT training centre, retail units etc.

GRANGER TOWN, NEWCASTLE-UPON-TYNE

  An area of 90 acres in Newcastle town centre which contains 460 buildings, over half of which are listed. English Partnerships committed up to £25 million in PIP funding over the seven year project. On the basis of this, an £11.1 million SRB bid was made. Other funds were also committed by English Heritage and bids made for European funds. The total public funding package was around £40 million and it was estimated that these funds would attract at least £80 million in private investment.
