2 NATIONAL LOTTERY Mr Secretary Smith That the draft Apportionment of Money in the National Lottery Distribution Fund Order 2000, which was laid before this House on 23rd November, in the last Session of Parliament, be approved.
3 DEREGULATION Mr Secretary Straw That the draft Deregulation (Sunday Dancing) Order 2000, which was laid before this House on 28th November, be approved. The Deregulation Committee has reported on the proposal for this Order in its First Report of Session 1999-2000, HC 334, and on the draft Order in its First Report of Session 2000-01, HC 37.
4 TAX SIMPLIFICATION (JOINT COMMITTEE) Margaret Beckett That it is expedient that a Joint Committee of both Houses be appointed to consider tax simplification bills, and in particular to consider whether each bill committed to it preserves the effect of the existing law, subject to any minor changes which may be desirable.

10 SECTION 5 OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES (AMENDMENT) ACT 1993 The Prime Minister That this House takes note with approval of the Government's assessment as set out in the Financial Statement and Budget Report 2000-01, the Economic and Fiscal Strategy Report 2000-01, and the Pre-Budget Report 2000 for the purposes of section 5 of the European Communities (Amendment) Act 1993.
