†3 DEREGULATION Mr Secretary Straw That the draft Deregulation (Sunday Dancing) Order 2000, which was laid before this House on 28th November, be approved. The Deregulation Committee has reported on the proposal for this Order in its First Report of Session 1999-2000, HC 334, and on the draft Order in its First Report of Session 2000-01, HC 37.
†4 TAX SIMPLIFICATION (JOINT COMMITTEE) Margaret Beckett That it is expedient that a Joint Committee of both Houses be appointed to consider tax simplification bills, and in particular to consider whether each bill committed to it preserves the effect of the existing law, subject to any minor changes which may be desirable.
