(a) | In Scotland, payments for improved and unimproved grassland are approximately £74 and £7 per hectare per year respectively. In certain cases in the UK, where the organic land is entered into another agri-environment scheme with land management conditions similar to aspects of organic farming, the aid rates are reduced. The reductions depend on the conditions involved; the lowest rates paid are £10/ha/year.
