SIELS ISSUED
TO CHINA
BETWEEN 1 JANUARY
AND 31 DECEMBER
1999
The Committee asked the Government to provide
a list of all standard individual export licences covering military
equipment for export to China issued between 1 January and 31
December 1999, and to identify in each case:
a) details of the nature of the goods to
be exported beyond the basic authorisation in the Report, including
an indication of volume and value; and
b) the intended end-user.
2. The licences on which further information
has been requested are summarised in the confidential annex to
this Memorandum.

3. The Annex E to this Memorandum contains
the additional information requested by the Committee and is provided
to the Committee in confidence.
