The Committee deliberated.

Mr Brian Glicksman, Treasury Officer of Accounts, was further examined.

The Comptroller and Auditor General's report on Shadow Strategic Rail Authority: Action to improve Passenger Rail Services (HC 842) was considered.

Mr Mike Grant, Director of Passenger Rail Franchising and Chief Executive, the Shadow Strategic Rail Authority, Mr Martin McGann, Executive Director, Corporate Services; and Mr Terence Jenner, Executive Director, Finance, the Shadow Strategic Rail Authority, were examined (HC 757-i).

In the absence of the Chairman, Mr Alan Williams took the Chair.

The Chairman resumed the Chair.

The Committee further deliberated.

Postponed paragraph 4 again read and agreed to.

Resolved, That the Report be the Fifteenth Report of the Committee to the House.

Ordered, That the Chairman do make the Report to the House.

Ordered, That the provisions of Standing Order No. 134 (Select Committees (Reports)) be applied to the Report.
