DCMS Social Inclusion Advisory Group Nov 1999Nov 2000 To advise the Secretary of State on the proposals of the DCMS Social Inclusion Action Plan; to represent the main partners to whom DCMS would be looking to deliver the proposals of the Action Plan; and to produce a report to the Secretary of State on the Action Plan's implementation. Music Industry Forum Jan 1998Not known To act as an informal channel of communication between the music industry and government. NoneMIF is no longer a fixed membership body. Ministers chair meetings, but those invited to attend are chosen on a meeting-by-meeting basis, based on the expertise they will bring to the subjects under discussion. Attendance lists are drawn up in consultation with the main music industry trade bodies and the Department's Music Industry Adviser.
