SCHEDULE

Section 3 of the Activity Centres (Young Persons' Safety) Act 1995

  The Secretary of State must before making regulations consult the Health and Safety Commission and such other persons (if any) as he considers it appropriate to consult.

Section 3(4) of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995

  The Secretary of State must consult such persons as he considers appropriate when preparing a draft of any guidance about the matters to be taken into effect in determining whether an impairment has a substantial adverse effect on a person's ability to carry out normal day to day activities or whether such an impairment has a long term effect.

Section 11 of the Disability Rights Commission Act 1999

  The Secretary of State must consult such organisations representing the interests of employers and organisations representing the interests of disabled persons in employment or seeking employment, as he considers appropriate before making an order exempting small businesses under the Disability Discrimination Act 1995.

Section 49 of the Education (No. 2) Act 1986

  Before making regulations about the appraisal of performance of teachers, the Secretary of State must consult such associations of local authorities, and representatives of teachers, as appear to him to be concerned and any other person with whom consultation appears to him to be desirable.

Section 314 of the Education Act 1996

  The Secretary of State must consult such persons about the draft code of practice on special educational needs as he thinks fit.

Section 19 of the School Standards and Framework Act 1998

  Before giving a direction to close a school, the Secretary of State must consult the LEA, the governing body, in certain cases the appropriate diocesan authority and the person who appoints the foundation governors, and such other persons as the Secretary of State considers appropriate.

Section 32 of the School Standards and Framework Act 1998

  Before giving a direction requiring the discontinuance of a community or foundation special school, the Secretary of State must consult the LEA, the governing body, in certain cases the appropriate diocesan authority and the person who appoints the foundation governors, and such other persons as the Secretary of State considers appropriate.

Section 85 of the School Standards and Framework Act 1998

  In preparing a draft code of practice on admission arrangements for schools, the Secretary of State must consult such persons about the draft as he thinks fit.
