Notes:
1 This is business covered by the ABI minimum concession
requiring us to ignore positive results (and not to require the
disclosure of genetic test results).
2 This is other business where we have always voluntarily
chosen to ignore positive results (ie other life assurance up
to £100,000).
3 This is business where we would take account of positive
test results (provided the appropriate approval to use the test
result had been given) up to October 2000, but not thereafter.
4 This is business where we may still take account of positive
test results provided the appropriate approval to use the test
result has been given.
5 These are cases which were either declined for other reasons
or accepted at standard rates even after taking into account the
genetic test result.
6 This is a case where one condition was excluded from critical
illness cover and life assurance and critical illness cover for
all other conditions were granted at standard rates.
