As you are aware, we are advising Mr Jaffer
Kapasi in relation to your on-going investigation, and also in
relation to various allegations made in the Sunday Times newspaper.
The Sunday Times reported on 14 May 2000, that
Sir Peter Soulsby "directed" [you] to Jaffer Kapasi.
We should be grateful if you would confirm to
us, if you had met Sir Peter Soulsby before he made the complaint
which you are currently investigating.
