Select Committee on Standards and Privileges Third Report

Annex 157A

Letter to the Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards from Finers Stephens Innocent, Solicitors

I write further to your faxed letter of 3 July 2000.

I am surprised to hear that you have "once again tried to contact [my] office by telephone, but can obtain no response". I have received no message from our switchboard or from my assistant. You have details of all my contact numbers.

You have still not dealt with the various issues raised in my previous letters and provided us with the documentary evidence to which you previously referred. It is of course of great importance that my client has access to this information. Once again, I would ask you to disclose it or to let me know why you are refusing to do so.

3 July 2000
