Following are my answers to the queries raised
by you in your letter dated 5 July 2000.
1. The cheque was made out to "Keith
Vaz" as the stub of the cheque proves, (copy already supplied).
A copy of the bank statement, showing the relevant entry is enclosed
herewith as requested*.
2. We did not receive a receipt or acknowledgement
in relation to this cheque from anyone.
3. Mr Keith Vaz MP, himself requested verbally
for a donation, explaining the purpose was to raise funds for
the Labour Party.
