Select Committee on Standards and Privileges Seventh Report

Annex M

Letter to Mr Michael Stoney, Pergamon AGB plc,

from Mr Geoffrey Robinson MP

Your letter of 23 May crossed with mine. I think on reflection you would agree that the £200,000 per annum figure is fair, especially now that we are providing in the Midlands the office/showroom at no cost as well. This a real need for Lock. We could be flexible on the profit percentage. The agreement does cover Lock International and A M Lock.

Next week I shall be in Düsseldorf at Interpak and will have a clearer idea how we are going then.

Meanwhile Australia has joined the ranks of our very troubled distributors! They have bought Bayliss and are now in competition with us!
