Annex F
Letter to the Parliamentary Commissioner
for Standards
from Mr Michael Fallon MP
Thank you for your letter of 22nd March.
Speech on Budget Resolutions, 23rd March 2000
(cols. 1153-1159)
I did declare my interests at col. 1153 (attached).[22]
My comments about the effect of the budget on business were entirely
general.
Speech on the Address, 24th November 1999 (cols.
673-676)
I was not a director of Bannatyne Fitness Ltd at
that time.
In the passage of time Mr Cryer complains, I referred
twice to small businesses in my constituency (cols. 674, 675):
Just Learning Ltd is not a small business and does not operate
in my constituency. Nonetheless, I did not declare my registered
interest in Just Learning Ltd, and I apologise for this oversight.
Please let me know if I can assist further.
