Letter to the Parliamentary Commissioner
for Standards

In my haste to comply with your deadline, I omitted
from my letter of 2nd May, one further comment regarding your
paragraph 28.
On the 7th May 1998, col 876-877, this point was
specifically raised following my declaration of interests. Madam
Speaker ruled that I did not have to declare the exact nature
of the interest and referred Members to the Register.
