Annex 124
Letter to Mr G Dalyell, Digby Brown, solicitors,
from the Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards
Thank you for providing the telephone number of the
payphone at Ms Hilliard`s flat.
As you will know, I asked Ms Hilliard for these details
so that I might obtain the records of telephone calls to support
her evidence to me. When Ms Hilliard informed me she could not
obtain copies of the records I asked for the details to allow
me to obtain them.
In my letter of 11 April I asked for Ms Hilliard`s
mobile and the land line records with the phone calls with her
employer highlighted (copy attached).
When Ms Hilliard told me that she had no access to
the land line account records I asked in my letter of 23 May for
the name and address of her landlord (copy attached).
To allow me to check these records please would you
let me have these outstanding items of information:
1. The relevant pages of her mobile accounts
with her calls with her employer highlighted. Other calls may
be blacked out to protect privacy.
2. The name and address of her landlord where
the payphone is situated.
3. You say the payphone company is not known
to her. I believe it will be specified on the payphone and would
be grateful to receive it.
