I have now received a reply from Mr Kevin Reid in
which he says that the Labour Party did not provide him with a
letter of reference to obtain a mortgage in 1998. Can you throw
any further light on this matter?

It may have been 1999, I don`t know other than Lesley
Quinn told me a financial reference had been provided and was
on file.
