Letter to the Parliamentary Commissioner
for Standards from Mr Paul McKinney
Thank you for your letter of 11 February.
The Labour Party employed me as Director of Communications
in Scotland for two months from the beginning of April 1998. I
resigned from the position at the end of May. During that period
I had no responsibility for personnel matters and no knowledge
of specific contractual arrangements or hours worked. I am afraid
I am therefore unable to answer any of your detailed questions.
I am sorry I cannot be more helpful.
