Telephone call from Willie Sullivan
In response to my letter he said he did not have
the impression that Suzanne Hilliard`s salary was made up by John
Maxton. His impression during the campaign was that she was paid
by the Labour Party. If it were put to him now that her salary
was made up by anyone, he would have assumed that it was made
up by John Reid but he did not know that at the time. He will
write to me and say that.
