  • Meetings with DSI and GAP-RDA staff in Diyarbakir

  • Meeting with the District Governor and the Mayor of Hasankeyf: meetings with local residences: visit to the archaeological works site

  • Meeting with Mayor of Batman: meeting with Governor of Batman

  • Meeting with Mayor of Diyarbakir


Group Two - Yalova and Izmit

  • Meeting with Mayor and Governor of Yalova

  • Visit Thames Water Dam project at Izmit; presentation and lunch with Thames Water staff


Wednesday 22 November - Ankara

  • Breakfast briefing with Ambassador

  • Meeting with Minister of Economy

  • Meeting with Minister of Foreign Trade

  • Lunch with Turkish Parliamentarians

  • Meeting with Minister of Energy and Natural Resources

  • Meeting with Professor Arik, Ankara University

  • Dinner hosted by Ambassador



Thursday 23 November - Ankara

  • Group One:  Meeting with Minister of Communications

Group Two:  Meeting with British Council

  • Meeting with Director General, European Preparations

  • Meeting with Professor Alt_nbilek, State Hydraulic Works (DSI)

  • Lunch with Embassy Economic and Commercial Department staff

  • Group One:   Meeting with Privatisation Administration

Group Two:  Meeting with Halkbank
