Oral Questions - Promoting the employment of professionals over the present retirement ages where there is need for their services and where they are competent to perform those services (L. Janner of Braunstone); Intended action to be taken to mitigate the impact of no-win, no fee litigation on school liability for injuries incurred during the playing of traditional schoolyard games (L. McNally); What action is required to reduce the impact of natural disasters on developing countries in the light of the White Paper on International Development (L. Hunt of Chesterton); Whether the freezing of the state retirement pension for pensioners resident overseas is compatible with the Human Rights Act 1998 (L. Goodhart).

Unstarred Question - What further consideration is being given to the needs of Gulf War veterans with still undiagnosed illnesses and of the dependants of those who have died (L. Morris of Manchester).

Parekh); What progress has been made with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office enquiry into how Mr Rafiu Odetayo, a black British citizen, who spent a month in prison in Germany after British consular officials refused to recognise his citizenship (B. Whitaker).

Debates - Marriage and traditional family values (B. Young); The record of H M Prison Blantyre House as a resettlement prison, and to the circumstances in which a search of the Prison in May was conducted by officers from other prisons and the Prison's Governor removed from the Prison (L. Mayhew of Twysden).

Unstarred Question - Whether the refusal to pay for personal care for elderly and disabled people in residential homes will be reconsidered (L. Ashley of Stoke).

Oral Questions - What measurers are being taken to build closer bilateral relations with the European Union applicant states in the period before they become full members (L.
