Mr Jonathan Djanogly 86 Clause 50, page 30, line 35, at end add'(10) In all situations, as prescribed in this Act, where the child, being a child of two years or older, has a right to representation in court or where the wishes, feelings or views of the child are to be sought, the child shall be provided with independent advocacy by the court. (11) The court may only make an adoption order, in respect of a child of 10 years or more, if the child has agreed to the order or the court has dispensed with the child's agreement. (12) The child, being of 5 years of age or more, shall be a party to proceedings relating to an adoption order unless the child has consented to waive his or her right to be a party.'.
