OFFICE OF COMMUNICATIONS BILL [LORDS]

NOTE

The Amendments have been arranged in accordance with the Resolution of the Programming Sub-Committee.

RESOLUTION OF THE PROGRAMMING SUB-COMMITTEE

The Programming Sub-Committee appointed by the Speaker in respect of the Bill agreed the following Resolution at its meeting on Monday 21st January (Sessional Order C relating to Programming):

       That—

    (1)   during proceedings on the Office of Communications Bill [Lords] the Standing Committee do meet on Tuesdays at half-past Ten o'clock and at half-past Four o'clock and on Thursdays at half-past Nine o'clock and half-past Two o'clock; and

    (2)   the proceedings shall be taken in the following order, namely, Clause 1, Schedule, Clauses 2 to 7, new Clauses, new Schedules;

    (3)   the proceedings on the Bill (so far as not previously concluded) shall be brought to a conclusion at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, 5th February 2002.

Dr Kim Howells has given notice of his intention to move a motion in the terms of the resolution of the Programming Sub-Committee [Sessional Order C(9) relating to Programming (28th June 2001)].
