Comprehensive Spending Review

Mr. Wiggin: To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what role economic incentives have in respect of the targets in the Comprehensive Spending Review. [73769]

Mr. Boateng: Departments decide how to provide the right incentives to ensure delivery of their targets, as part of the delivery planning process.

Frozen Assets (Madagascar)

Mr. McNamara: To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what assets are held in the United Kingdom by (a) the Government and (b) other public authorities based in Madagascar; on what grounds action has been taken to freeze such assets; what mechanisms are available for concerned parties to (i) make representations and (ii) appeal against his action; and

what action has been taken by other European Union countries against accounts held by authorities in Madagascar. [74158]

Ruth Kelly: No assets held in the United Kingdom by the Government or other public authorities based in Madagascar have been frozen. Actions taken by other European Union countries are a matter for their Governments.

Census (Northern Ireland)

Mr. McNamara: To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what plans the Office for National Statistics has to publish the results of the Census in Northern Ireland; and what the breakdown is of (a) the adult population and (b) children under 18 years of age in each parliamentary constituency by religious belief and perceived community origin. [74159]

Earnings (Scotland)

Mr. Moore: To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will list for (a) Scotland and (b) each unitary local authority area in Scotland the (i) weekly median earnings and (ii) the distribution of earnings for those earning (A) under the point below which 10 per cent. of earners fall and (B) the point above which 10 per cent. of earners exceed, broken down by (1) male manual, (2) male non-manual, (3) all male workers, (4) female manual, (5) female non-manual and (6) all female workers. [74312]
