The Committee deliberated.
Resolved, That the Committee do visit Washington, San Francisco,
and Las Vegas, from 7 to 13 April 2002, in connection with its
inquiries into communications and gambling.—(The Chairman).
Ordered, That the Chairman do seek the approval of the
Liaison Committee for expenditure in connection with the said
visit.
Arts Development: Mr Adrian Noble, Artistic Director, Mr Chris
Foy, Managing Director, Mr Jonathan Pope, Redevelopment Director,
Ms Sinead Cusack, Associate Artist and Board Member, the Royal
Shakespeare Company, were examined.
