English Heritage's Register of Buildings
at Risk is updated every year. Published in nine regional
editions, the Register catalogues listed buildings seriously
threatened by neglect and decay. Outside London the Register
lists only grade I and II* listed buildings, in London the
Register includes grade II, as well as grades I and II*.

||Poor||Public baths and swimming pool built in 1904. Emergency repairs undertaken to arrest decay. Possible use as "healthy living centre" under consideration.
|Tottenham Public Baths, Town Hall, Approach Road, N15
||Public baths built in 1905. Marketed by local authority together with former depot site at the rear. So far no proposals have emerged.
|Uxbridge Lido, Park Road, Uxbridge||II
||Poor||Swimming pool designed in Modern style in 1935. Only remaining example of a 12-side "star" swimming pool. Vacant since closure in 1998. Condition deteriorating and subject to vandalism. Site identified as part of a proposed site in Hillingdon UDP for an indoor sports/leisure complex.

||Poor||Public baths and swimming pool of 1895-96. Sold at auction by local authority in 1998. Application of re-use as offices refused by local authority.
|City University Swimming Pool, St John Street, EC1
||Built 1894-96. Swimming baths rebuilt 1953-55 following war damage. Owners seeking funds to refurbish.

||Poor||Built 1928-31. Closed 1997. Westminster has put forward unsatisfactory proposal for re-opening with significantly reduced sports facilities.

|Victoria Baths, Hathersage Road, Longsight, Manchester
||Built 1906. Outstanding public baths built in 1906 with three pool halls, Turkish and Russian baths suite and lavish decoration. Closed 1993 despite vigorous local opposition. Victoria Baths Trust seeking funds to re-open baths independently of the city council as a "healthy living centre".
|Collier Street Baths, Salford||II*
||Poor||Former baths of 1855 later used as warehouse. Important survival of early purpose-built baths. Was open to the elements and suffered from vandalism. Emergency repairs undertaken in 1996, but there has been further water ingress since.
|Hugh Mason House, Henry Square, Ashton under Lyne
||Municipal swimming baths built 1870-71. Derelict but purchased by developer for commercial use. So far no realistic scheme for re-use. Some emergency works have been carried out but condition is still generally poor.
|Clifton Pool, Oakfield Place, Clifton, Bristol
||Swimming baths of c1850 built in Egyptian style. A feasibility study has been commissioned.
