Memorandum submitted by Mr Peter Newbery

  The political and electoral power of the BBC now appears to exceed that of Parliament. To highlight this phenomenon I have produced the attached verse covering its unsatisfactory elements.

  Some urgent action is necessary by Members of Parliament to recover the situation. I am, therefore, asking for your personal intervention to lead the essential reforms.
