Select Committee on Culture, Media and Sport Appendices to the Minutes of Evidence

APPENDIX 5

Letter to the Clerk of the Committee from Mr Andy Prokopp

THE NATIONAL STADIUM

I write as a sports fan/taxpayer to bring to the attention of the Committee the potential of the Bishopsgate Goodsyard as the most fitting site for our new National Stadium.

The site is owned by the not for profit Railtrack. Most of the groundworks of the site are in place, saving time and money. With the loss of revenue from digital television it makes sense for the FA and others to cut costs by sharing and utilising Bishopsgate.

Attached are copies of two letters with important website addresses for your consideration.
