The Committee deliberated.

Ordered, That the Sub-committee on the Disposal of Refrigerators have the following Orders of Reference: "To consider the effects of European Council Regulation 2037/2000 on Ozone Depleting Substances on the disposal of refrigeration units since 1 January 2002; and to analyse the Government's preparations for the coming into force of the Regulation".—(The Chairman.)

Future of UK Agriculture: Mr Roger Coleman, Chairman, Mr David Ansell, Director, and Mr Charles Course, Council Member, Institute of Agricultural Management, were examined.

Professor John Alliston, Dean of the School of Agriculture, and Ms Kate Russell, School of Rural Economy and Land Management, Royal Agricultural College, were examined.

Professor John McInerney, University of Exeter, was examined.
