Genetically Modified Organisms: Mr Patrick Holden, Director, and Gundula Meziani, Policy Manager, Soil Association, were examined.

Dr Roger Turner, Chairman, Mr Bob Fiddaman, National Farmers' Union Board Representative, and Mr Daniel Pearsall, Secretary, Supply Chain Initiative on Modified Agricultural Crops, were examined.

Rt Hon Michael Meacher, a Member of the House, Minister of State (Environment), Dr Linda Smith, Head of the GM Policy and Regulation Unit, and Mr Graham Davis, Head of the GM Crops Policy Branch, Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, were examined.
